We find ourselves in a time frame known as The Sfiras Ha’Omer.

Its a 49 day journey that we went through when we were redeemed from Egypt, up until the time when we came to the foot of Har Sinai, 

Leaving Egypt, we were on the 49th level of impurity, the 50th level is the lowest one, and one that a person cannot be redeemed from. 

And in order to receive The Torah and become Hashems holy nation, beginning a beautiful, holy, personal, passionate, committed relationship with Hashem, we had to do some inner work. 

We were slaves

For hundreds of years.

And all of a sudden we were free. 

But free to become a righteous holy nation, not a lost, wandering one-

We were redeemed to live at a level of purity. 

We were redeemed to understand who we are, and why were in the world. 

We were redeemed to be given the tools of refinement, of harnessing, of guidance, of clarity…

We all have an animal inside of us, 

As slaves, we almost drowned, almost succumbed to the environment of unharness chaotic animal energy, instincts, raw, unfiltered animalistic desires. 

And being redeemed, Hashem showed us that

Thats not our purpose 

Thats not our goal

We have a different one- 

Maybe it was hundreds of years of seeing 

What not to be

What not to act like 

What not to behave like 

Mahybe thats why Hashem told us we are never allowed to go back to Egypt because weve seen the example of what not to be like, and we understand. 

And after those long decades, long hundreds of years, 

Hashem said, ok, ready to see what youre actually here for?

Ready to step into who youre supposed to be?

Ready to step into the version, the idea of us Hashem had originally made us to be-

We were redeemed, came to the edge of the sea, saw all of those chaotic animal energies try to catch up with us, 

And we were like oh shoot, 

Now what?!

And one man - Nachshon was like, 

Hashem told us to continue going straight, thats what we need to do, 

Dont look behind, dont let the reminder of the past trip you up from where youre heading, 

Keep going

Just keep swimming 

So he jumped into the water 

The purifying energy of 

WERE READY 

to do this 

Were ready to go forward

Were ready to leave all of those shackles and demons behind us

Yallah!!!

Jumping into the future, 

Jumping into the unknown, 

but all we know is that Hashem said to

And if He says to, 

Then theres something beautiful ahead!

Its scary.

Its unnerving.

Its shaky

Its shocking

Its paralyzing at times 

But you gotta do what ya gotta do 

Just do it 

Switch into the zone of spontaneity 

Of a positive lets do it

Leave your mind, leave your ideas leave all of your worries behind you 

Oh that reminds me

It means no worries for the rest of your days 

Sometimes you just gotta

You just gotta step out of the shell thats been you for so long and say 

Bye.

Theres a new version of me calling and im gonna grab that opportunity and go 

Forward 

Go for it 

Sometimes you gotta escape your own “comfort zone”

And head into the “dangerous unknown zone”

Of becoming 

Of 

I dont have a single clue whats about to happen, 

But the one 

Let me fall if i must. The one i am becoming will catch me. 

Let me jump into the unknown if i must, which is something we all have to do in life, 

Growing up is the scariest thing ever, 

But the one you are becoming will catch you. 

If you are going with Hashems truth

If youre going with Torah and Mitzvos

There aint no reason to be afraid

Because Hashem is known to catch us when we “trust fall”

Actually jump into Hashem, because Hes waiting with open arms full of unconditional love, guidance and clarity.
